It is the ultimate version of Samurai Warriors 4, an entry in the Warriors series based on the Warring States period of Japan.This version includes over 150 pieces of DLC from the original.Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada is based on this iteration but, is completely separate game with its own story and gameplay mechanics.
The game is quite similar to Samurai Warriors 3, but adds a number of mechanics from Samurai Warriors Chronicles. The most notable addition is the character switching mechanic from the Chronicles games. A fog will surround the mountain and shroud your radar, so youll need to fumble towards the west where Kenshin will eventually appear. You can skip all this if you choose to attack from the west side of the map instead. Doing so will bring about a different set of missions and opportunities. The biggest pivotal point in this stage is if you allow Shingen to be assassintated; if so, the new target will be Yukimura (i.e., you) and more missions previously unavailable will be offered to you. This maps is used quite often, so youll familiarise yourself to it rather quickly. To complete it, simply fight towards Kenshin Uesegis position at the south. Be sure to kill any officers along the way for experience points and items. Return to Camp - Return to Hachimanbara at once. You will receive this mission when Kenshin starts mobilizing his forces for an assault. Check the map to see where Hachimanbara is (it should be roughly located within the center portion of the area). To open the locked gate in the way, kill the officer found near it. If you like, you can jack a horse (from any enemy officers who are riding one) to move more quickly. You will receive this mission after Kenshin starts moving his troops. Go to Kaizu Castle and kill the enemy officers leading the forces that are attacking it. Check the map to see where Kaizu Castle is (it should be located at the east side of the area). Using a horse if necessary, simply catch up to him and kill him. Remember to use musou attacks if too many enemies get in the way. Multiple variations of this mission exist, as listed in the Vault.
